Paco Osuna returns to his Mindshake label with his latest EP, ‘Beat Heat,’ featuring a remix by Wheats.
The ‘Beat Heat’ EP starts with the title track, a percussive tech house gem that combines flowing percussion with a funky bassline. The track is enhanced by trumpets and warped vocals, creating a dynamic and engaging experience. The second original track, ‘New For Me,’ continues the percussive theme with tribal influences and rhythmic vocal textures that add depth and complexity.
Wheats, who returns to Mindshake after releasing an EP with the label in 2023, delivers the remix of ‘New For Me.’ Stripping away some drums, the British DJ and producer introduces deep synths that infuse the track with a trippy atmosphere, demonstrating his signature stripped-back and hypnotic house style.
With a career spanning over two decades, Paco Osuna has graced the stages of the world’s most prestigious underground events, from the super clubs of Ibiza to major festival mainstages.
