PAN-POT is back with the drop of their brand new EP entitled ‘Proto’. The record signals their first original music in over one and a half years and is now available via Second State Audio.
Their new ‘Proto’ EP comes as the duo celebrates 20 years, and pays homage to PAN-POT’s origins, exemplifying their vigorous style as their construct around a dark vocal centerpiece.
“We wanted to do something special for the 20th anniversary of PAN-POT, so we jumped back into the studio with our friend Hugh Betcha, who we produced ‘Charly’ with back in 2007, released on Mobillee. Our very first ‘hit’ track that received international recognition,” says PAN-POT. “The lyrics of ‘Proto’ are the continuation of the original ‘Charly’ track. Just have a listen….”
The EP also features a ‘Stripped Mix’, and is completed by a remix, courtesy of the mysterious Mike Shannon.
