Pantha Du Prince announces ‘Garden Gaia’ album, shares single

Out on August 26th.

Pantha du Prince has just shared the first details about the drop of his forthcoming album, ‘Garden Gaia’. Available on August 26th via Modern Recordings, ‘Garden Gaia’ is his first full-length record since 2020’s ‘Conference Of Trees’.

The incoming ‘Garden Gaia’ is described as “an investigation with the means of music about the Earth as a vision of a perfectly functioning garden”.

In line with the announcement, Pantha du Prince also shared the first glimpse into ‘Garden Gaia’ with the release of its lead single, ‘Golden Galactic’, which features the participation of French jazz musician Friedrich Paravicini.

“I was awake and this golden shimmer slipped through my fingers and turned into sound. I kept playing and playing on a synthesizer while listening to myself play. Then I listened to this music with Friedrich Paravicini. Afterward, he composed strings for it: it’s like a musical dialogue.” says Pantha du Prince about the creative process behind his latest release.
