Parallel Society has revealed the complete programme for its 2026 Lisbon edition, set for March 6th and 7th in Marvila. The two-day gathering brings together international and local voices across counter-culture, music, and civic technology.

The event continues its focus on decentralised systems and experimental culture, uniting hacktivists, technologists, researchers, activists, and artists. This year’s lineup includes DJ Stingray 313, Los Bitchos, Apparat, Gilles Peterson with MC Rob Galliano, Clark, Moses Boyd, Calibre, and Kode9. More than 60 percent of the artists are Lisbon-based, underlining the festival’s support for the local underground.

Organized as a not-for-profit and collectively curated initiative, Parallel Society builds on the work of Logos, a movement centred on decentralised technology and blockchain systems. The aim is to foster empowered communities and alternative models of collaboration.

March 6th is dedicated to the event’s [un]conference, featuring workshops, discussion circles, protocol labs, hackspaces, and co-design sessions focused on decentralisation, privacy, open-source culture, and community autonomy. Confirmed speakers include Aaron R. Day, Dr. Agata Ferreira, Amir Taaki, Dave Stann, Fatemeh Fannizadeh, Francesco Moiraghi, Guy-Louis Grau, Harry Halpin, Igor Sirotin, Jarrad Hope, Mark Lutter, Michael Holstein, Pavel Zoneff, Rose O’Leary, Siaka Stevens, and Vít Jedlička.

On March 7th, the programme shifts to live and club performances across The Terminal and The Lab stages. Artists include Apparat, Gilles Peterson with MC Rob Galliano, Clark, Moses Boyd, DJ Stingray 313, Los Bitchos, Calibre, Kode9, Gayance, Kokeshi, Violet, SoundPreta, Maria Amor and Shcuro, Abajour Nonok, Afrojamslx, Chima Isaaro, Nelson Makossa, Albin, Collective Unconscious, and ϙue, equii and Olena Bublyk.

An on-site exhibition expands the scope with works by João Cardoso (Cardoz), Ana Tortos, Batu, João Magalhães, Tomás João (Nature The Artist), and Collective Unconscious, exploring non-hierarchical structures and emergent governance.

Parallel Society is about building practical alternatives for how culture operates,” says Curation Director Louisa Haining. “From the (un)conference to the live programme, we’re bringing together underground artists, open-call projects, and local voices to test new models of collaboration and production. This edition reflects our commitment to experimentation, shared authorship, and creating tangible opportunities for artists working outside conventional systems.”
