Paul Oakenfold has shared the documentary about his DJ set at the top of Mount Everest, which is available for streaming exclusively via movie and music service FlixFling.
‘SoundTrek: A Music Journey To Mount Everest’ captures Oakenfold as he travels through Nepal’s villages and the Himalayan Mountains for the special performance. Recorded in 2017, Oakenfold celebrated the 30th anniversary of the beginning of the ‘Second Summer of Love’ by playing at the ‘highest party in the world’, on Mount Everest’s Base Camp during the early hours of the morning, raising money for Supporting Nepal’s Children and the Youth Music organizations.
‘The success of ‘SoundTrek Mount Everest’ was just the beginning,’ says Paul Oakenfold. ‘Based on the amount of money raised for charity and the global success of the adventure, I plan to do many more SoundTreks around the globe.’, he concludes.
