Pete Philips has just released his latest EP entitled ‘Echoes.’ The album is now available under You Plus, and it showcases the artist’s talent and the label’s knack for discovering and nurturing innovative artists.
Hailing from Montreal’s vibrant electronic music community, Philips has combined sci-fi soundscapes with retro-futuristic elements, blending indie dance with melodic house and techno. His original vocals give the release a personal touch, narrating a relatable story of fleeting names and distant memories.
The ‘Echoes’ EP is further enhanced by remixes from Pig&Dan and You Plus One’s own Siavash, bringing fresh energy to Philips’ tracks.
Philips, a multi-instrumentalist known as Poe (CA), first gained attention with the Husa Sounds Collective. His talent led to a remix by HOSH on the Fryhide label. He has performed at venues like Centre PHI, Piknic Électronique, StereoBar, and You Plus One’s HAUSPARTY.
