Featuring eight new original compositions.
Radio icon Pete Tong has finally shared ‘Pete Tong + Friends: Ibiza Classics’, a new compilation under his acclaimed ‘Classics’ format. The new drop follows up on the release of his collaboration with Tales Of Us and Jules Buckley, which saw them take on Hans Zimmer’s ‘Time’.
Originally launched back in 2016 in collaboration with Buckley and The Heritage Orchestra, the ‘Classics’ project has been an absolute success, topping the UK charts and selling out shows throughout the UK and Europe. This new installment finds the participation of ARTBAT, Tale Of Us, Elderbrook, Franky Wah, Becky Hill, Riton, Kölsch, Eats Everything, and Vula.
‘‘Pete Tong + Friends’ takes the Ibiza Classics story to the next level. It’s been so inspiring collaborating with some of my favorite artists, DJs, and producers on eight fresh new interpretations of these legendary tunes and a brand new original song with Kölsch & Elderbrook. I can’t wait to start performing them live at our shows.’ says Tong about the new drop.
‘Pete Tong + Friends: Ibiza Classics’ is out now via Ministry Of Sound. Listen to it below, and pick up your copy of the album here.
