Photo Gallery: Long Feng, Burning Man’s largest AAPI-inspired art car

From Sunday, August 24 to Monday, September 1, 2025, Burning Man once again transformed Black Rock City into a stage for radical creativity. Among the standout experiences was Long Feng, the playa’s largest and first-ever performing AAPI-inspired art car.

With a structure designed to move like a contortionist, Long Feng blended ancient symbolism with futuristic design. Inspired by the dragon, phoenix, pearl, and the five elements, it became a cultural bridge between East and West, unfolding with dancers, circus artists, and immersive storytelling that adapted to each performance.

This year’s programming placed Long Feng at the heart of the festival’s nightlife, soundtracked by global names such as Vintage Culture, Damian Lazarus, Gordo, Adam Ten b2b Mita Gami, Francis Mercier b2b Mahmut Orhan, Colyn, Kaz James, Lee Foss, MAZ, Kream, Kimonos, and Arodes b2b AMÉMÉ. From sunrise odysseys to late-night journeys, the art car created moments where music, movement, and myth collided.

Cutting-edge technology enhanced the experience. Partnering with Sound Investment Audio, Long Feng featured a custom Funktion-One, NST Audio, and Full Fat Audio system delivering exceptional sound quality. Robotics and AI interactivity transformed the art car into a living presence on the playa.

On Thursday night, the Dragon Awakening Tie-Up gathered Long Feng alongside Abraxas, Elektra, Heavy Meta, Torch the Dragon, and Xuza — an unprecedented convergence of dragon art cars that lit up the desert in a spectacular display of scale and light.

Long Feng stood out as more than an art car — it was a symbol of community, cultural connection, and future-facing creativity. Below, we invite you to revisit some of the most striking moments from its journey at Burning Man 2025.
