Pioneer DJ presents digital-analog hybrid turntable

Allows blending of classic vinyl with modern digital technology.

Pioneer DJ has recently announced the launch of their latest turntable, the PLX-CRSS12, which offers a revolutionary hybrid of digital-analog capabilities. This innovative turntable is the first of its kind to allow DVS control of digital music via DJ software while still supporting vinyl records, providing a significant advancement for DJs who want to blend classic vinyl with modern digital technology.

One standout feature of the PLX-CRSS12 is its Digital Vinyl mode, which lets users scratch a vinyl record without worrying about the needle skipping. On the other hand, the Analog mode includes a direct-drive turntable that promises enhanced sound quality with machined gold-plated RCA terminals, similar to the PLX-1000. The turntable is compatible with Serato DJ Pro and rekordbox, making it ideal for DJs who want to merge their vinyl collection with digital playlists.

Other features of the PLX-CRSS12 include adjustable weight settings for the clamp, a high-contrast OLED display for torque settings and track information, and built-in MIDI-mappable Performance Pads for quick access to frequently used features. Serato and Rekordbox’s stem separation technology is also available, allowing users to play specific elements of their tracks in groups or individually.
