Having teased users and followers earlier this month, Pioneer DJ has now officially announced the drop of its new 4-channel DJM-A9 mixer.
The DJM-A9 boasts a series of upgrades, including a new layout design for a more intuitive use, ESS Technology 32-bit high-quality converters, a ‘Center Lock’ feature for Sound Color FX, added color display for Beat FX, a phantom-powered input & three new mic effects, a lockable power cord, and two headphone outputs with their own functionalities
With dual USB Type-B and USB Type-C ports, the DJM-A9 enables users to plug in two separate PC/Mac computers simultaneously, and tracks can also dropped be onto the mixer from other devices via Bluetooth.
In line with the launch of Pioneer’s DJM-A9 mixer, the brand also introduced its Stagehand iPad app, which is designed specifically for front-of-house teams, offering the possibility to remotely monitor performance and tweak settings on a DJM-A9 and CDJ-3000 setup via the PRO DJ LINK network.
The DJM-A9 mixer is priced at US$2,699/€2,799 and is expected to ship in early March 2023.
