Point Blank have again teamed up with Resident Advisor to launch their scholarship programme, the Young Producers Scholarship.
This scholarship initiative was created to help passionate musicians who may not have the opportunities or funding to reach the heights that they are capable of. The lucky person selected for this collaborative programme with RA will be awarded a full scholarship to Point Blank’s CertHE Music Production & DJ Practice course worth over £9,000. This will take place at their HQ in Shoreditch, London, and see the aspiring musician reap the benefits of the peerless status that these two institutions carry in the world of dance music as well as work alongside those who have been there and done it, themselves.
This 9-month course is one of Point Blank’s most popular and intensive available, featuring modules such as Intro to Music Production, DJ Skills, Music Composition, Sound Design, Art of Mixing, Music Industry and more, making it perfect for anyone looking to kickstart their career in the music business. Show them your outstanding talent and your will to work and PB & RA can take you as far as you want to go.
Last year’s winner, Tailor Jae, has since gone on to play alongside the likes of Kurupt FM, Spooky and more. She’s guested on Rinse FM as well as Keep Hush UK alongside Conducta and the Kiwi Rekords crew and most recently released a new track, ‘Thief‘ on L U C Y’s imprint, SZNS7N, which she made in collaboration with PB students Traces at their Orsman Road studios.
