Portishead to perform at Wembley’s Together For Palestine

The event will feature Jamie xx, James Blake, Damon Albarn, Elyanna, Saint Levant, and more.

Portishead will record a rare live performance of their track ‘Roads’ for Together For Palestine, a benefit event taking place at Wembley Arena on Tuesday, September 17, 2025. The concert aims to raise millions for humanitarian aid in Gaza while expressing solidarity with the Palestinian people.

The Bristol group joins a bill that now includes Palestinian musicians Elyanna, Saint Levant, El Far3i, Adnan Joubran, Faraj Suleiman, and Nai Barghouti, alongside British artists Celeste, Leigh-Anne, Jamie xx, Hot Chip, James Blake, Greentea Peng, Damon Albarn, King Krule, Rachel Chinouriri, Sampha, Obongjayar, PinkPantheress, Rina Sawayama, and Riz Ahmed. Also announced are actors Amer Hlehel, Benedict Cumberbatch, Charithra Chandran, Guy Pearce, Jameela Jamil, Motaz Malhees, and Ramy Youssef, as well as Louis Theroux, Amelia Dimoldenberg, and Holocaust survivor Stephen Kapos.

Executive produced by Brian Eno with Khaled Ziada, Khalid Abdalla, and Tracey Seaward, the night combines performances and recorded appearances from around the world. Speaking on their participation, Portishead said: “We are incredibly honoured to stand in solidarity with Palestine and be part of this crucial event. The genocide must stop.”

Tickets are on sale now, with 100% of proceeds donated to Palestinian-led humanitarian organisations through the UK charity Choose Love.
