Portuguese-Mozambican producer Trikk returns to the Berlin-based label Innervisions with a new single, ‘Luxo’.
Trikk’s blend of influences, which includes industrial, post-punk nuances, and organic rhythmic elements, is evident in his previous releases. ‘Luxo’ embodies this mix, carefully balancing these diverse sonic elements. The single highlights a warm, catchy bassline, layered with elements that emphasize the artist’s musical style.
For the single’s artwork, Trikk and Innervisions partnered with Joao Castro’s The Royal Studio, creating a self-portrait that encapsulates the spirit of the music.
Trikk’s position as an artist is based on his life experiences and distinctive personal qualities, all reflected in his music. The man behind the alias is a humble producer and DJ who has carved out a niche for himself through his selective releases on specific labels.
