Last Cat On Earth Recordings has released the eighth installment of its Last Mix On Earth series, featuring Argentinian artist Prototype. The latest edition follows the label’s focus on curated electronic selections and is available now on their digital platforms.
The mix showcases Prototype’s versatile production and selection style, blending deep house, progressive, and breaks. The set is structured as an evolving narrative, transitioning from hypnotic, introspective openings into higher-energy segments. Notable inclusions in the tracklist feature music from Quivver, Martin Roth, Spencer Brown, and Funk D’Void.
The 17-track selection includes two unreleased original works from Prototype and a private edit of Adriatique’s ‘Midnight Walking.’ The artist designed the set to reflect the atmospheric nature of urban environments, focusing on rhythmic continuity and layered textures.
Prototype is a rising figure in the Argentinian electronic scene, known for his technical control and emotive approach to deep house. His contribution to Last Mix On Earth reinforces the series’s reputation for highlighting artists with a distinct sonic identity.
