Radiohead have revealed full details for ‘KID A MNESIA the movie and art installation’, confirming dates, locations, and ticket availability for the immersive project presented by Motion Picture House. The experience will travel across four cities in the US and Mexico between May 2026 and February 2027.
The project will open in Brooklyn, New York from May 6th to May 31st, before heading to Chicago from July 30th to August 23rd. It will then arrive in Ciudad de México between October 27th and November 15th, closing its run in San Francisco from January 14th to February 7th, 2027.
At its core, Motion Picture House is a large-scale audiovisual installation and art gallery built to house the ‘KID A MNESIA’ experience. The narrative unfolds “in which a monster is trapped in a derelict museum of the lost and forgotten,” described as “a relic of a time when technology could have saved us.”
The installation features a 75-minute film that merges the architecture of the space with visuals developed by Thom Yorke and Stanley Donwood during the ‘Kid A’ and ‘Amnesiac’ recording sessions. Surrounding gallery environments expand on this material, alongside a new spatial audio mix of the project’s music.
