Rawax, the record label, has recently announced the launch of a new vinyl series called ‘Rawax Ricardo Villalobos Edition,’ which celebrates the music of the Chilean-Swiss artist, aiming to showcase both, his past and present releases.
The series kicks off with a special 25th-anniversary reissue of Villalobos’s single from 1999, ‘808 The Bassqueen,’ which is set to be released in May.
This announcement comes after the reissue of the artist’s debut album, ‘Alcachofa’ via Perlon, last October. The reissue received widespread acclaim, further solidifying Villalobos’s status as a true pioneer in the electronic music scene.
