Italian DJ and producer RCKSTR makes a swift return to the spotlight with his newest EP, titled ‘The Box’, and sees the artist take his unique blend techno and acidic shades to new heights in an immersive and textural record.
Composed by 4 new cuts, the package comes full-circle from the first track, ‘In The Box’, to the closing take ‘Out The Box’, working as a concept for the record. Showcasing a dark-tech aesthetic at its core, the music feels cinematic, as RCKSTR creates soundscapes from a wide palette of sounds that engage on an emotional plane with the listener.
‘The concept of this EP is the metaphor that I have assigned to some phases of life, where entry and exit are a certainty but the lapse of time that separates them remains an unknown factor’, says the artist about the release.
