Melbourne-based electronic artist re:abel has unveiled his latest single ‘Leaves’ via Mammal Sounds Records, marking another chapter in his sonic evolution.
Following the recent success of his track ‘Flying Colours’, the rising talent delivers this new offering from his upcoming EP. ‘Leaves’ represents a deliberate shift towards more optimistic territory, blending innovative sound design with emotional depth.
The track showcases re:abel’s production techniques, featuring intricate layers of repeating vocals and crafted broken percussion that build towards an expansive, soaring melody.
Speaking about the creative process, he shared: “With this song, the aim was to explore a more uplifting vibe, featuring repeating vocal elements and broken percussion that pave the way for a soaring melody. This track pushes into new territory for me, delving into a fresh, optimistic sonic landscape.”
