Rebirth Records is marking its 20th anniversary with the release of ‘Rebirth 20’, a new compilation celebrating two decades of the label’s output. The project will arrive on May 15th, 2026, as a limited double vinyl, with additional formats scheduled across the following months.

Curated as a retrospective and forward-looking statement, ‘Rebirth 20’ follows a decade after the label’s compilation helmed by Larry Heard. The new edition brings together remixes of key catalog tracks alongside lesser-known material, revisiting the label’s history while reframing it through contemporary interpretations.

The vinyl edition will be preceded by a special Record Store Day preview on April 18th, before the full release on May 15th. The project will then roll out digitally in two parts across June and July.

The compilation features contributions from a wide range of artists connected to the label’s trajectory, including Alva Noto, Glenn Underground, Makèz, Luciano and Michel Cleis, Cromby, Terrence Parker, Martinou, DJ Babatr, RSS Disco, Liquid Liquid, John Ciafone, Red Axes, Silicone Soul, Cengiz, Nick Holder, and Einka, with more names still to be announced.

Founded in 2006 by Daniele ‘Shield’ Contrini in Brescia, Rebirth Records has developed into a platform known for its focus on long-form artistic direction and cross-generational dialogue. Over the years, the label has worked with artists such as Blond:ish, Rampa, Danilo Plessow, Jimi Jules, Agoria, Butch, Chaim, Emanuel Satie, and Marc Romboy, while also maintaining a consistent internal roster.
