Techno artist Reinier Zonneveld made history by setting a new Guinness World Record for the longest electronic music live set. The record-breaking performance took place on August 5th, 2023, at the Karren Maar Festival held at the historic Stadsblokken in Arnhem, the Netherlands. The Dutch DJ played a solo live set for 11 hours and 11 minutes, starting at 12:49 pm and ending exactly at 12:00 am.

Reflecting on his achievement, Zonneveld said, “The Karren Maar festival was an exceptional journey of sound and connection. Playing for 11 hours and 11 minutes allowed me to explore new emotional and energetic territories in my music. I am grateful for the opportunity to have shared this unforgettable experience with everyone present, as we pushed the boundaries of what’s possible in the world of electronic music.”

Apart from his successful attempt to set a new world record, Reinier Zonneveld will conclude the festival season with an album release in September 2023. The first shared single, ‘Music Is The Answer,’ has been evergreen in the artist’s live sets for the past few years.
