After 4 decades of career, the band was recognized on November 7th.
Depeche Mode, the electronic music legendary group, was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Along with them were recognized names such as The Doobie Brothers, Whitney Houston, Nine Inch Nails, The Notorious B.I.G., and T-Rex.
In the acceptance speech, the group’s leader, Dave Gahan, spoke about the band’s collective musical journey. ‘Growing up, listening to music on the radio, and making music helps us to feel normal, to feel part of something … That is what music does for people and I think that is what Depeche Mode has done for many people’, commented the artist.
