Brooklyn-based producer and DJ Rïa Mehta just announced her debut album ‘Metamorphosis’, releasing on Perspectives Digital on June 27th, 2025. The lead single will be released on June 6th.
‘Metamorphosis’ captures Rïa’s rich multicultural sensibility, weaving together influences from her upbringing in Sri Lanka, Dubai, and London. The nine-track album features compositions like the ethereal ‘Far Away’, the surging ‘Metamorphosis’, the hypnotic ‘Jhari’, and the soulful ‘All of Me’. Each track showcases her deep connection to melody and emotional storytelling.
A DJ-turned-producer, Rïa learned Ableton Live during the pandemic and quickly developed a signature sound that blends cutting-edge production with organic textures. Supported by artists like RÜFÜS DU SOL, Nora En Pure, Gorgon City, and BLOND:ISH, Rïa’s music resonates in both dancefloors and introspective settings.
