Riva Starr has unveiled his fifth studio album ‘Keep Me On The Dancefloor’, out now via Snatch! Records. The LP sees the veteran producer shift his focus toward songwriting and collaboration, blending disco, funk, filtered house, and soulful pop influences into a cohesive and deeply personal body of work.
Crafted through in-person writing sessions with musicians and vocalists, the album is a celebration of human connection on and off the dancefloor. “Most of the tracks came together quickly, thanks to the incredible vibe and chemistry in the studio,” says Starr. “It’s all about vibey music with powerful lyrics and melodies.”
Standout collaborations include the electro-funk ‘I Was Lost’ with Chromeo, ‘Know You Love Me’ with Flight Facilities, and ‘It Feels Much Better’ featuring Harry Stone. Additional vocal performances come from Nic Hanson on ‘(I’ll Be Your) Paradise’ and Biishop on ‘Wildfire’.
