The original release sold over 2.5 million copies.
Following a coincidental New York encounter in 2017, Rocco Rodamaal and Keith Thompson decided to rework the house classic ‘Break 4 Love’. Two years after they present the new reinterpretation plus three different remixes.
With the idea of celebrating the 30th birthday of ‘Break 4 Love’, originally recorded by Thompson as the lead vocalist of Raze, the updated version brings a contemporary translation with freshly new recorded vocals that not betray the timeless feel and original spirit of the track, supported with Rodamaal’s 20 years DJ and production experience.
The French producer, owner of Memories label, in order to consolidate a strong message to the new listeners and giving the project a high dose of musicality, involved other talented musicians including Aloe Blacc to co-produce and co-write, while Atjazz engineered the final mixdown in his studio in the UK.
Additionally, three new remixes were produced by Karizma, Louie Vega and Atjazz, offering the listeners different approaches of the seminal house classic.
