Rony Seikaly creates campaign for the Beirut victims

The artist donated 100.ooo US$.

Lebanese DJ and producer Rony Seikaly has created a campaign through GoFundMe to help the victims of Beirut after the tragic explosion that has destroyed part of the capital, as well as its entire night district. The money will be a contribution to help rebuild the city.

In addition to setting an example, the artist asks his followers to contribute their bit through his campaign. To do this, Rony has partnered with the NGO SEAL, an organization of Lebanese-Americans who have helped in various causes in the Middle Eastern country. The funds raised will be allocated with total transparency to actions such as housing, food, medical support, and rehabilitation.

Beirut suffered a massive harmonium nitrate explosion on August 4 that left 137 dead, more than 5,000 injured and 300,000 homeless. The country has only a few days of food and medical resources left.
