Featuring a remix by Fur Coat.
Iranian producer and vocalist Running Pine has made his solo debut on the electronic music circuit with the release of ‘Shadow’. Having previously collaborated on vocals with Mind Against (‘Trust My Eyes’ on Afterlife) and Fur Coat (‘Hurricane’ on Renaissance), the artist now presents his first three solo tracks, alongside a remix by Oddity’s head honcho, Fur Coat himself.
‘Shadow’ is ‘characterized by beautiful strings and glitchy beats, accompanied by Running Pine’s striking vocals (reminiscent of Them Yorke), creating a haunting emotive story’, while Fur Coat expands on some of the original’s key elements, transforming ‘Shadow’ into a more dancefloor-oriented track. ‘Run Out’ goes for a darker feel, treading left-field waters, and ‘Eclipsed’ closes the EP, focusing on ‘glitchy sounds and celestial melodies.’
Running Pine’s ‘Shadow’ EP is out now via Fur Coat’s Oddity. Listen to it below, and purchase your copy here.
