Sailor & I has released his new album, ‘Diving For Lost Treasure’, on Get Physical’s sister label, METAPHYSICAL. In this album, made up of 10 indie-dance-oriented songs, the Swedish artist goes beyond his own limitations as a composer and producer.
Regarding the production of the album, Sailor & I said the following: ‘This made me take my first instrument, the guitar, which I hadn’t played for years. Publishing a song with only one guitar was like going back to the musical starting point and it gave a lot of new perspectives on songwriting and production. I realized that I had stories to tell that were important to me on a personal level. Making an album with these stories would be the ultimate way of facing myself and meeting challenges by the ones I’ve been through lately. I think we’ve managed to create a universe for songs to exist in, one in which they can get older and older and still sound freshly made.’
