After a little hiatus, AdMaiora Music strikes back with a killer EP by Barcelona based Zaccaria Malak (Moan, Deeperfect) which also sees the debut of Belgian Igor Vicente on the label. Opener ‘Inhuman’ rolls with a solid bassline that leads the track breath in and out, due to clever short breaks and some male vocal parts. The gentle pads perfectly match with the groove, gliding and rising all the way through. Thus, ‘Subhuman’ has a breakbeat approach and the tight groove find wide atmospheres and pads which suddenly leave the track, bringing out a wavy bassline and driving drums. Closing the EP is the Igor Vicente (Hot Creations, AVOTRE) remix who makes who turns the original into a deep tech monster. Here, it’s all about crunchy claps, distorted synths and warm pads that make of this one a deep and energetic cut.
