CMND CTRL Recordings is proud to present, CTRL007, with a 3-track release not to be missed. Alexi Delano is back for his second appearance on the label, but this time with a well-crafted original track titled “Fomo Tech”. His title track begins with dark layered synth loops and slowly rising percussions that drive along steadily through the track. Subtle changes to the rhythm are so well crafted you will hardly notice they have suddenly appeared. A very friendly DJ tool type track perfect for dance floor warm up or the late-night crowds.
First up on remix duties is the Italian Techno legend himself, Gaetano Parisio, and he delivers a very strong rendition of Fomo Tech. Thick loopy hook layers along with hard driving percussions that are very reminiscent of Gaetano’s work on his South Soul label. Well timed breaks and percussion changeups show you why Gaetano is one of the best in the world at his craft. This is a remix that is sure to be given lots of support by some of the biggest names in the business.
Lastly, Swedish producer Kimono delivers his unique sounding remix starting off with deep kicks and toms intertwined with well timed percussion change ups that really make this remix stand out. Kimono does a great job twisting the main synth loops to give his version a real stand out sound that is sure to catch the attention of many.
This 3-track release is a very solid effort for the label that blurs the lines as to what today’s Techno sound should be.
