Anaphase’s ‘In A Way’ released on producer/DJ Underher’s label IAMHER 27th March.
The release includes 2 remixes, a high energy more dance-floor friendly one from Dorfler, and a spacious, deep and downtempo one from Underher himself.
The original is a sparkling, dreamy progressive dance track that takes you on an emotional journey from hope, to conflict, to satisfying release. The music flies towards a distant horizon, evoking moments of uplift and possibility.
The demo for ‘In A Way’ was made in one night in deepest darkest Wales. It begins with minimal piano and percussion and builds to what feels like a moment of internal reflection. Here the main heartbeat of the track is interrupted by a haunting vocal with the lyrics “what is it I’m trying to say?” accompanied by a beautiful sparse piano melody that builds into the euphoric peak of the track.
‘In A Way’ is the first track of Anaphase’s new EP, mixed by techno producer Hannes Bieger. The second track ‘Accordia’ will be released the following month.
