In her second EP ‘States‘, Axonia deliberately combined three tracks of different genres to reflect the concept of her inner states. The rhythm ranges from breakbeat to straight kicks, but flying atmospheric synthesizers, rich bass and gentle vocals remain unchanged. ‘Cathexis‘ reflects the fixation of mental energy on some object or desire. ‘Living in a dream‘ takes on the ability to escape from reality into an imaginary fantastic world.
