Beirut-born, Dubai-based Bachir Salloum is an exciting talent bubbling up on the global underground dance scene. Returning to Balance Music, he delivers the sparkling ‘Never Landing’ four-tracker, out February 17th.
A seasoned performer alongside Sasha, Joris Voorn, and Lee Burridge, Bachir Salloum was a familiar face in Lebanon’s scene before relocating to and shining in Dubai. His innovative blend of progressive, deep, and organic house has led to a wealth of brilliant releases across Balance, Do Not Sit…, Akbal Music, Earthly Delights, Dream Culture and Armen Miran’s Hoomidaas, cementing his growing reputation.
The darker vibe of ‘Binary Vision’ is centered around a hefty kick and ticking 16th hi-hat pattern while a sub-bass groove syncopates with rhythm and cadenced synth. Developing easily, an array of melodies build in a hypnotic fashion across the piece as the track rises to a crescendo before dropping away in the final stages. We’re happy to premiere ‘Binary Vision’ on Electronic Groove.
