Cameron Jack Returns to Crosstown Rebels with The Late Shift EP
Cameron Jack is back on Crosstown Rebels with his debut solo EP for the label, The Late Shift. Set to drop on December 6th, 2024, the release features four standout tracks, including two collaborations with vocalist Liz Cass and two solo productions showcasing his refined late-night sound.
London-born and Ibiza-based, Cameron Jack has quickly risen through the ranks of house music, gaining support from Crosstown Rebels founder Damian Lazarus, as well as Blond:ish and Lee Burridge. Despite being early in his career, 2024 has been a breakthrough year for Cameron. He has shared stages with icons like Seth Troxler, Jamie Jones, and DJ Tennis, held a five-show residency at Hï Ibiza, and performed at major events including Extrema Outdoor, PHAEX Festival, Get Lost Mexico, and Fabric London. An upcoming Asia tour will close out his stellar year.
Having previously featured on Crosstown Rebels’ SPIRITS VA series and releasing on renowned labels like Knee Deep In Sound, Abracadabra Music, and All Day I Dream, Cameron now delivers his first full EP for Crosstown Rebels. The Late Shift is a refined exploration of his deep, groove-driven, and captivating dancefloor sound.
Cameron Jack on The Late Shift:
“The Late Shift EP is inspired by everything I love about the dancefloor. It’s deep, it grooves, and with Liz’s spoken word vocals, it has sex appeal. Rather than big, hands-in-the-air, pull-your-phone-out moments, it’s all about keeping the energy of the dancefloor rolling. I’m super proud of this EP and how it represents me as an artist at this moment in time. I couldn’t be happier to release it on Crosstown Rebels, a label I’ve built such a close bond with over the last few years.”
The EP opens with two collaborations featuring Liz Cass, whose vocal work has graced tracks by Hot Since 82 and Nora En Pure. The first track, Dusk Till Dawn, combines rolling grooves with Liz’s seductive spoken word vocals, creating a hypnotic late-night atmosphere. Next, Move Your Body delivers driving rhythms and infectious energy, perfect for the dancefloor.
On the B-side, Cameron showcases his solo talents with Get High And Dance, a playful fusion of rolling percussion and captivating tones. Closing out the release, Won’t You? offers a drum-led groove to keep dancers moving until the very end.
