In April of 2022, Crosstown Rebels unveiled a collaborative effort from label-head Damian Lazarus, global-house duo Gorgon City and rising vocalist Leia Contois as the artists teamed up on Start Over. Now as the year draws to a close, the label invites Frank Heinrich aka Reboot to remix the track.

Originally premiered by Dancing Astronaut before being performed live by the trio at Red Rocks Colorado, Start Over marked a mammoth release in the label’s 2022 calendar. Carrying equal weight, Reboot’s remix sees the Frankfurt musician deliver a weird and wonderful reimagination of the original as Leia Contois’ vocals ask “can you show me how to fly?” over mischievous pitch bends and glitches.

With releases spanning 15 years, Reboot aka Frank Heinrich continues to be an artist in demand. His remix for Damian Lazarus and Gorgon City adds to a year of output on the likes of Snatch! Records, Pleasure Zone, Voltaire Music, Cecille, and more. DJ, producer, Crosstown Rebels label-head, and internationally-recognized talent, Damian Lazarus’ contributions to electronic music speak for themselves, from championing the likes of Jamie Jones and Seth Troxler in their early days, to running and operating multiple festivals in the form of Day Zero and Get Lost. From global headline tours to achieving several UK Top Ten singles, Gorgon City has become one of the UK’s most successful electronic producers in recent years. Crossing over into mainstream popularity whilst remaining true to their underground roots, the boys have sold out venues the world over, with London club highlights including Printworks, Tobacco Dock, and O2 Academy Brixton to name a few. US-native Leia Contois is an actress, model and vocalist. Her contributions on Start Over marked her maiden appearance on Crosstown Rebels, setting the tone for a bright future ahead.

Release date:  December 16th, 2022.
