I am proud to present our latest release on cormalake records. Davidovitch & Miserez have known each other for over twenty years. Already musically active in the 90s, they joined forces this year by working between Switzerland and Sri Lanka to produce a high quality EP.
The songs ‘Atlantique One’ and ‘Atlantique Seven’ are DeepTech jewels with a strong emotional sensation. Atlantique is in reference to the oceans of electronic music that connect the worlds.
Generally’s steely, ultra-hypnotic Deep-Tech usually conjures images of some distant future, all flying cars and glass buildings. But ‘Atlantique’, 2 tracks from the switzerland duo’s latest EP, is rooted in the emotion and share. Groovy and percussive, it’s the fisrt party-friendly tracks they’ve released, a bass-well round and synth lines that recalls the classic era of reduced techno and tech house, where a fat bassline and shuffling percussions were all DJs needed to get a dance floor rocking. But just here the sound is so fresh. Really, this is an EP to put high on your playlist from now on if you don’t want to be left behind…

Passionated, Davidovitch & Miserez defines their music as colorful, cosmic & deep… They grew up in Switzerland, but their influences are diverse. They often play between Geneva and Lausanne but also in Zurich, Paris, Lyon, Bali, Morocco, Sri Lanka & Goa … When Miserez is not behind the deck, you can find him on his yoga mat, teaching or practicing … Namaste <3. Davidovitch howewer spend his life only behind the machines.
