Deciduous return with another rich offering in the form of ‘Time & Space’, a twin-track EP on Massano’s Eternity Sounds, that sees the duo probe the existential riddles posed by the title and produce a sophisticated work that expertly navigates these themes on a sonic landscape.
Time plays with the malleable nature of temporality. Beginning by placing the listener in an almost embryonic state, it acknowledges the serene state of infinity before existence until completing its rise to a cataclysmic crescendo that echoes the first explosive spark of life in the universe.
The accompanying track Space creates intimacy in the vastness of the unknown. It subverts the cold, eery of sound the expanse to make an appeal directly to the most intrinsic human desire to celebrate.
