Nightsteppaz’ Vibe Me To The Moon imprint prepares to round off their 2022 release schedule as they welcome longstanding US artist Dermarkus Lewis to the label. The single, Listen & Understand, sees the Grin Music boss deliver a deep cut in his distinctively warm sound.
Marking his Vibe Me To The Moon debut, Demarkus Lewis lays down an infectious groove on Listen & Understand, combining a low-slung bassline with spacious pads, gripping vocal chops, and jackin hats and snares. The release rounds off what has been a standout year for the recently revived label, welcoming the likes of Roland Clark, Joeski, Robert Babicz, and more.
Label boss of Grin Music and a revered figure since his debut on Swerve Records in 1999 with Making It Happen In Kaotic Times, Demarkus Lewis has cemented his standing as one of America’s most well-loved and prolific artists. Collaborations with the likes of Glenn Underground and Boo Williams epitomize his vintage yet contemporary sound, and with performances at clubbing institutions such as Tresor and Smartbar already under his belt, there seems to be no end in sight for Demarkus.
