Introducing D&G, the brainchild of Declan Burke and Geoff Foley. Their debut EP “This Thing We Called Life” features three pieces drenched in soul and subtle sophistication with the meticulous attention to detail and composition we’ve come to expect from the pair.
The first, “We Matter” slowly builds to a soothing release carried on the warm wings of polyphony through pristine pads and euphoric atmosphere. “Frequency” is a controlled burn, a haunting heater steeped in anticipation, perfect to set spark to a dormant dance floor. The EP’s titular track begins like a flickering light within that rises from a simple beginning to an eruption of nostalgic lava melting down the sides of your heart.
