We are proud to welcome a very special talent from Greece to our label. Elias Kazais is based in Florina and has established himself already as a great multi-genre producer on various other labels such as Defected, Obenmusik, SP Recordings and many more. He offers a broad spectrum of diverse sounds where his origins and past musical influences are sewn into a multitude of his musical arrangements and electronic journeys and landscapes. As foundation though one can clearly hear, Elias is a dedicated ‘groove rider’ and all of his tracks emphasize on a deep and powerful underlying bass and kickline.
We are happy to present to you on our label his first EP called ‘Mess is Lore’, two strong and convincing progressive Afro House tracks made to make you dance. ‘Mess is Lore’ starts off with a strong but deep kick and poignant HH’s accompanied by a constant mesmerizing bassline. Diverse sound FX, percussive FX and layered shakers determine the groove, moving the track forward. Deep and growling saw synths as well as atmosperic pads and vocals progress in their up and downs nicely to give the track its tension and character. The break is filled with pad progressions that let the listener float trough space and time. Mess is Lore then intensifies for one more peak and lets you drift off.
‘Mess is Lore’ is the perfect track opener or closer for your Afro House or Afro inspired Progressive House set.
His second track is called ‘Midnight and Mind’, which again kicks off with a powerful deep kick flagged by diverse percussive elements and high and low shakers. Deep ambient synth work and melodic synth progression build the track up, interrupted by percussive impacts, Fx and vocal chants. This second epic song with a strong and powerful break made with heavy saws and synths will set your mind in a trance like state where you can just let go of all inhibtions and swirl around that dance floor.
