Moscow-based Producer & DJ Erudith returns to Champion Records with the beautifully poignant ‘Lost’, featuring Tiana’s gorgeous vocals, released on 8 May.
Following his acclaimed hit ‘Drop The Bass’ released on Champion Records last year, Erudith proves why he is such an exciting talent with the stunning piano-based ‘Lost’, enhanced by the incredible, soulful vocal delivery of Tiana Kruškić, who demonstrates why she has been described as “the Tina Turner of the Balkans”.
Perfect for warmer months, ‘Lost’ immediately transports the listener to sun-drenched beaches, as Erudith’s skilful production showcases Tiana’s unique vocal as she sings about lost love, with the emotional beats harking back to vintage ‘90s house.
In Erudith’s words: “My inspiration lies at the origins of house music. This is a vocal track. The most important thing is not to disturb the vocals. Tiana is an absolutely amazing vocalist. It has been an honour and pleasure working with her.”
Roman Shuev aka Erudith was born and raised in the south of Moscow. Having fronted bands in the 2000s, he switched to dance music and debuted under the name MotiBo in 2014, releasing on labels such as NYLO Music, Media Blackout and D2 Records. A remix of the MotiBo and UngaDume collaboration ‘Let It Flow’ was the soundtrack to the 2018 film, Alterscape. Claptone included Erudith’s ‘Freedom’ in his May 2019 Clapcast mix and Claude VonStroke opened his March 2019 edition of The Birdhouse Mix with ‘Only’. ‘Freedom’ was also included in Traxsource’s ‘Weekend Weapons’ playlist. Erudith’s previous release on Champion Records, ‘Drop The Bass’, was supported by Claptone, Claude VonStroke, Annie Nightingale on BBC 1Xtra, Kryder, Andi Durrant, Tom Novy, Taku and Ben Malone on Kiss FM.
