Our 45th offering welcomes two international artists on remix duties. Hailing from the island of Sri Lanka, SAJAY is an advocate of underground electronic music amongst his peers. He draws inspiration heavily from his roots and upbringing in Kenya. Having only begun his production journey in 2018, SAJAY has managed to land releases on Juicebox Music, onedotsixtwo, Mango Alley, and Soundteller Records to name a few.
Next in line, we enlisted the skills of a young and talented Argentinian producer Nacho Quaglini. With releases on 3rd Avenue, AH Digital, Sound Avenue and having already received support from Hernan Cattaneo for his bootleg of ‘Quivver – Nothing New to Feel’, his career is off to an epic start.
Kicking things off with ‘Asuba’, Nacho Quaglini delivers us a gentle and organic rework of the original track. Nacho keeps the ambience and elegantly accompanies it with his signature drum groove that sits perfectly amongst the dynamic layers of percussion and sounds of nature. The pads come and go throughout, with soft keys that will allow you to drift away in the beauty of sound.
SAJAY adds his progressive flair to ‘Yamma’, taking you on a never-ending journey, filled with underlying harmonies that lead you to the bridge of the track, letting you slip into the unknown before bringing you into a groove with a captivating build up. Filled to the brim with exploration and hypnotising elements, this is sure to get any dance-floor moving.
