Fresh from their recent Mixmag cover, celebrating the release of their ‘GA25’ album and their last ever UK live tour, Groove Armada enter 2023 with a killer new remix of their iconic track ‘Superstylin’, courtesy of prolific 23-year-old Brazilian talent Mochakk.
The release follows remixes from Logic1000, Dance System, and Ewan McVicar last year and drops on 10th March via BMG.
Mochakk’s absolute belter of a rework, fresh from releasing on Chris Lake’s Black Book Records, this young Brazilian got his start in skating and hip-hop culture before moving into electronic music. His meticulous approach to the craft has seen him amass a dedicated following in the millions and lighting up every central dancefloor this year from Coachella to Circoloco and Sonar. Bringing addictive youthful energy to this classic track, Mochakk’s reimagining gives us both ravey wonk and dubbed-out bliss with plenty of big room color. A killer track that does the original proud and will undoubtedly win the hearts of Groove Armada die-hards as much as finds a whole new set of fans on Gen Z dancefloors.
