GruuvElement debuts on Rebellion with four-track ‘Insane’ EP
Bucharest-based DJ and producer GruuvElement steps onto Rebellion, the revered imprint curated by Damian Lazarus, with ‘Insane’ — a powerful four-track EP set for release on January 23rd, 2026.
Known for his meticulous rhythmic construction and innate command of hypnotic grooves, GruuvElement has previously released music on labels such as elrow Music, Solid Grooves, Moan, and Paco Osuna’s Mindshake, among others. With ‘Insane’, he sets the tone for 2026, continuing his explorations between minimal and tech house, channeling peak-time club energy while preserving his refined, percussive identity.

Opening the EP, the title track ‘Insane’ surges forward with tight, rolling percussion, warped vocal stabs, and a feverish energy that sends the dancefloor into full ignition. ‘Hey’ follows with a more playful tone, driven by a bouncing rhythmic backbone and lively vocals that create a dynamic exchange between DJ and crowd.
Next, ‘Boujee’ leans into attitude and swagger, where slick percussion meets refined textures to deliver a track that moves with elevated elegance. Closing the EP, ‘Hipnotico’ dives deep into late-night territory, with mesmerising patterns drifting around soft trumpet motifs, slowly enveloping the listener in hypnotic tension.
