Blank Dust proudly presents New Era, a deeply expressive new EP from rising French producer Haelium.
Known for his emotionally intelligent blend of electronica, ambient, and leftfield rhythms, Haelium returns with New Era, a four-track journey through fragile melody and spacious percussive design. Released via Steven Weston’s Blank Dust imprint, this new body of work represents a bold step forward, fusing Haelium’s classical roots with forward-thinking production.
“These tracks came from a quieter headspace,” says Haelium. “There’s an emotional arc to the EP. It’s about finding stillness, getting lost, and resurfacing with clarity.”
Opening single “Cherish The Peace” (out 19 Sept) is a statement of calm resilience. Airy pads and broken beats meet tender harmonic layers in a moment of peaceful resolve. The follow-up, “Lost Again” (out 17 Oct), deepens the narrative. Moody yet propulsive, it captures a driving sense of emotional uncertainty.
“Miss You” is the EP’s most personal track with bittersweet chords and glitchy textures wrap around a sense of longing that’s raw but restrained. Closing track “Nocturne” is cinematic and expansive, recalling the ambient electronica of Nils Frahm or Rival Consoles, with a melodic touch that’s unmistakably Haelium.
