Hidden Element, the solo project of Igor Kirilenko, presents the ‘Cycles’ EP on the Thousand Kisses Place imprint — the last instalment of the 3-part album. It features three dance tracks, an ambient meditation, and two remixes by Throwing Snow and Nocow.
Following ‘Comparisons’ and ‘Kontinuum’, the final part follows the same concept of the former two. The material of the trilogy was written between 2017 and 2020, which included one year of living in the United States. In this regard, tracks like ‘Final Approach’ and several others were written during the artist’s difficult adaptation period in California. This piece of work reflects his personal process of finding the self, and, as a consequence, returning to Kyiv.
The EP trilogy begins with the track ‘Sound Of‘ and ends with a remix of ‘Sound Of’ by Throwing Snow and thus the cycle has come to an end and the storyteller is back at the place where his journey initially began.
After the release of ‘Cycles’, stickers will become available that can be applied to the vinyl cover of the first EP ‘Comparisons’.
The original track was not included in the EP but was included in the previous compilation of the Thousand Kisses Place label. I deeply respect the music of Nocow that was the reason I asked him to make a remix.
