Bosh welcomes Jake-Tech & Paul HG, a Yorkshire based duo who have both studied music production at Kirklees and Manchester, honing their skills and making good contacts within the industry. Over the last 4 years, the guys have spent a lot of time building brands including ‘HG One Records’ , ‘Eye To Eye Radio’ and ‘Jake-Tech / Paul HG & Friends Show’ where they have booked some amazing DJ’s. Both shows are hosted on Data Transmission Radio. With previous releases on such labels as 1980 Recordings and Supernova’s Blackboard imprint. For their Bosh debut, ‘Dark Rise’ is a moody deep tech groover powered by a rolling bass line and peppered with percussive elements and dark atmospherics.
The first remix comes from KRS Two who last appeared on Bosh with their remix of Dylan Debut’s ‘For My People’. The Manchester based duo have been busy building their brand with releases on Rawax, Purism Wave, Music Related Records and more. Adding some shuffle to the beat and a plucky motif, the guys create a moody tech house floorfiller.
