Hot off the heels of the Bohemian Disco label’s first release, ‘Head Up High’, from Jason Herd and Barbara Tucker, Jason unleashes his second single for the label, introducing his very own Bohemian Disco Choir on a fantastic cover of Mary Mary’s 2000 hit ‘Shackles (Praise You)’. Perfectly reformed with a funky disco house edge, ‘Shackles’ comes with all the shiny trimmings of strings, funky guitars, and an infectious bass hook, topped with the sensational soulful voices of The Bohemian Disco Choir. Also on the package Jason collaborates with North West London’s rising star, Cash Only, together delivering a bumping peak time House and Garage fusion, lead by an ever-changing lead synth and a huge bassline to get the floor bouncing.
Jason Herd has gained worldwide acclaim with his uplifting house productions on top labels such as on Defected, Subliminal Azuli, Toolroom, Moody and CR2, among others. He’s performed at Global Gathering, Creamfields, Space Ibiza, Pacha Ibiza, Amnesia Ibiza, Space, Toolroom Knights, and more. Having taken a break from releasing music, concentrating on his Manchester Based “Bohemian Disco” Festival, alongside his mixing, mentoring, and engineering, Jason gets ready to deliver his best work as he launches his Bohemian Disco label.
