JB Martinz returns to SB Recordings with ‘Terminator’ EP
Peruvian DJ and producer JB Martinz returns to Loco Dice’s SB Recordings with his new ‘Terminator’ EP, landing on June 12th, 2026. The release follows his successful 2024 outing, ‘Toma Pao’, and sees the Santiago-based artist once again delivering his signature blend of rolling percussion and peak-time energy.
When he’s not performing at his Club Room Santiago and MISA Peru residencies, Martinz is in the studio refining the groove-led, drum-driven sound that has become his calling card. With releases on VIVa MUSiC, Circus Recordings, and Repopulate Mars, alongside support from The Martinez Brothers, Joseph Capriati, Marco Carola, and many others, the Congueros Music co-founder continues to build momentum on the international circuit.
Opening the EP, the title track ‘Terminator’ combines irresistible drum-machine grooves with growling synth lines, while tightly swung hi-hats inject the production with infectious bounce and relentless dancefloor energy. On the flip, ‘Drop It Heavy’ leans into a bold, fanfare-inspired aesthetic, layering hypnotic rhythms, a captivating bassline, and slick rap vocals that pull listeners deep into its rolling groove.
