Madloch’s Sound Avenue welcomes back John Moblack with his third EP on the label, Have You Seen My Boat?, continuing a relationship that has steadily evolved in recent years. Based in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, John has emerged as a distinctive voice within the progressive house and melodic techno space, drawing inspiration from artists such as Adriatique, Guy J and Sasha.
Since his earlier outings on Sound Avenue and Future Avenue, alongside releases on Hexagonal Music and Soundteller Records, he has continued to refine a sound rooted in groove, atmosphere and careful progression. Now returning with his third EP for the imprint, John presents the title track Have You Seen My Boat?, further expanding on the foundations laid across his previous releases. The original is complemented by a diverse set of remixes, bringing together a global cast of artists closely aligned with the label’s extended network.
Sri Lanka’s Kyotto offers his interpretation with a refined and flowing touch, while Argentina is represented by both ZAHNA and Ignacio Tuzio, who join forces for a collaborative rework. Mexico’s AOVA adds another perspective from within John’s own national scene, and Thaddeus X from the Dominican Republic rounds out the package with his distinct contribution.
