For his latest outing, Kadi delivers a four-track Indie Dance statement on Renaissance shaped by the way he constructs his DJ sets. ‘Night Buddy EP’ was shaped through close collaboration with artists in Kadi’s inner circle.
‘Non Stop Techno’ and the title track ‘Night Buddy’ raise the tempo and sharpen the edge. Here, the energy becomes more urgent and propulsive. In contrast, ‘Ms Cookie’ and ‘The Workshop’ move at a slower, more measured pace, patiently shaping the floor with hypnotic rhythms and textured layers that pull you inward.
